Hardwood Solitaire is a good collection of solitaire games developed by Silver Creek Entertainment. The collection features twelve popular card games including Silver Klondike, Pyramid golf, Freecell, Fourteen Out, Four Seasons, Yukon, Clanfield, Blind Alleys, and many others.
These card games are very easy to play and best of all, you will have a great time playing them. Each one has its own rules, so in case any of these games is new for you, there is a comprehensive help file with all its details.
The graphics are really good, as well as the animation, card designs, and sound effects. If you want to listen to some tunes, in music options you will find a number of midi files to listen while you play.
You can customize the card decks, selecting among four different styles. In addition, the full version allows you to create your own decks from your personal pictures using an extra application.
Unfortunately, the trial version of Hardwood Solitaire has a lot of restrictions, for example there is only one shuffle per game, which is really disappointing, and, a constant reminder to register the game shows up during the game. |
